We are pleased to welcome you to our website. We are a brand new modern translation agency, which can pride itself on dynamic development. From the very beginning of our business we have concentrated our efforts on translation services within languages, which are much deficient in Poland – such as Asian, African or uncommon European languages.

In Japanese Makoto means “truth, sincerity”; in the ancient Japanese poetry this term substituted loyalty of the lyric subject’s feelings towards the poem’s essence. At that time phrase 真少なし makoto sukunashi ”too little truth” was a disqualifying opinion for the author and his poetry. In translating the whole world for you we make the most of us to provide you excellent value translations, which can be described as 真あり makoto ari “in this lies the truth", which a thousand years ago was the greatest esteem for the Japanese poet.

We belong to the small group of Polish translation agencies, which provide translations in a number of most important Asian languages (such as: Bengali, Burmese, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Lao, Mongolian, Tagalog, Thai, Tamil, Urdu or Vietnamese), African languages (Afrikaans, Amharic, Bantu, Swahili) and all European languages. Naturally as our company has been established in Poland, the abundant of our work includes translations to and from Polish. However, thanks to a number of freelance translators working for us all over the world, we can easily translate between two foreign languages other than Polish. About us

Each company is made of people. That is why we prepared About us sub tab. MAKOTO Translation Agency was established on 1st December 2006. At the beginning we specialized in translating orient languages. As the time passed by our offer has gradually developed and today we can offer you translations in more than 60 languages.

Our translators constitute our capital – thanks to numerous contacts with translation agencies and freelancers all over the world we have more than 500 translators in our database at the moment. We are careful at matching freelancer with the translation. This work must be done professionally. We will never employ students or apprentices – to enter into cooperation with the MAKOTO Translation Agency a freelancer must be philology graduate and have at least 2-years professional experience in translating.

About me

The owner of the MAKOTO Translation Agency, PhD Krzysztof Olszewski graduated from the Japanese and Bulgarian Philology at the Jagiellonian University. For many years he has been working as the Japanese teacher as well as Japanese literature and culture lecturer on his Alma Mater and other universities.
For more than 10 years he has been working as the Japanese translator (in 2004 he was certified to sworn translator). He is the member of the PT TEPiS (Polish Society of Economic, Legal and Court Translators), Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs and JAT (Japan Association of Translators). He also works as the national counsellor on the Japanese language at the National Examination Committee in the Sworn Translators Department, Ministry of Justice.

Our offer

MAKOTO Translation Agency provides its services in written translation and interpretation, both plain and certified, in more than 60 languages. From the very beginning we have focused on: constant development of our offer as well as passion and devotion to all performed translations, particularly to the most difficult projects. As a consequence we have won the opinion of a special agency, which is ready to take on any "mission impossible". Of course we also translate in the most popular languages. However, our biggest advantage is that we can provide you with the translations in uncommon European or orient languages.
We do not claim, that we can translate in all languages. This would sound quite unreliable – yet there are more than 6 thousand languages. At the moment we can provide translation services in the following languages, which for your convenience were divided into 5 language groups:

II group: Bulgarian, Czech, Spanish, Lithuanian, Romanian, Slovak, Ukrainian, Italian

III group: Belarusian, Bosnian, Croatian, Danish, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, ancient Geek, Yiddish, Catalonian, Latin, Latvian, Macedonian, Moldavian, Netherlands, Norwegian, Portuguese, Serbian, Slovenian, Swedish, Turkish, Hungarian

IV group: Albanian, Arabic, Basque, Chinese, Hebrew, Hindi, Icelandic, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Mongolian, Reto Roman, Vietnamese

V group: Afrikaans, Amharic, Bengali, Burmese, Indonesian, Kazakh, Kirghiz, Lao, Nepali, Armenian, Persian, Sanskrit, Swahili, Tagalog, Thai, Urdu, Uzbek

However, if you need to have your translation done in any language which has not been listed above (e.g. Inuit) it is not a problem for us. We only need to have some time to prepare an adequate pricing offer. We are in the constant process of enlarging our language list. We believe that nowadays it is possible to translate everything; no matter what expertise or language it is – that is: We can translate the whole world for you – with passion and joy!
We work with more than 500 carefully chosen freelance translators – most of them have been translating for many, many years and have impressing professional experience. We do not employ students or apprentices – we would like to assure you that your translation will be performed by a professional with proven areas of expertise. Thanks to it we can guarantee the highest quality of our services. However, if the translation project requires additional consultation with an expert, we will let you know at the moment of commissioning such translation. Naturally our company will provide this consultation. To guarantee proper communication, quick performance, high quality, and most of all, low prices, we are working with a number of translation agencies and freelancers all over the world -  at the moment these include agencies and translators from countries such as: Israel, Latvia, Estonia Scandinavia, Finland, China, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan and others.
